What is edible gardening?

An edible garden is also known as a garden that contains flowers, vegetables, fruits and plants that you can eat.

It doesn’t need to be very big. With a few pots and containers, or even just a window box with a few herbs, you may create a little garden.

Before we start planning what to plant in your edible garden, there are a few key factors that you need to consider when planting an edible garden.

Tips to Start Planting Your Edible Garden !

1) Make sure to have enough space

Even a tiny space can be used to create an edible garden. Small gardens, balconies, porches, and courtyards are all ideal locations to plant an edible garden.

2) Pick a good spot

The area with the most sunlight and the best soil would be the ideal location for your edible garden.

3) Get a quality soil

Your soil should have a good balance of nutrients and organic matter as it is the base of any garden.

4) Use organic fertilizers

As organic fertilizers decompose, they enhance soil structures and boost the soil’s capacity to store water and nutrients in addition to releasing nutrients. They will eventually help your soil and plants become robust and healthy.

garlic requires between a half-inch and one inch of water per week. Next, choose a planting location that receives 6 to 8 hours of direct sunshine each day since garlic thrives in full sun.
